The Murchison falls national park is Uganda’s biggest savanna park covering a total area of 3848sqkm located North West of the beautiful country. The park is also home to the mighty Murchison Waterfalls that are considered the strongest in the world and offer amazing sights and sounds in the jungle.
The park is subdivided into two parts by the Victoria Nile that offers a wide range of water activities such as waterfall boat trips, shoe bill trips, sunset trips and sport fishing. The south is dominated by woodland savanna and tropical rain forests that offer habitats to a range of wildlife such as chimpanzees, monkeys, different bird species, elephants, and much more wildlife whereas the north is covered by open grassland savanna, open woodland and riverine vegetation that offers easy sightings of wildlife such as lions, leopards, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, antelopes, savanna and water birds among other beautiful wildlife species.

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to Murchison falls National Park
Today detailed itinerary we shall drive north of Kampala to the Murchison Falls national park where you will encounter a wide range of wildlife in the national park. Expect to do a rhino trek en-route at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will take a walk to visit the rhinos in the wild. After the trek, we shall drive and check into the Murchison Falls national park with numbers of animal sights en-route.
Day 2:Murchison falls National Park Game drive.
We shall have an early start today into the savanna plains where we shall look out for a variety of wildlife of your interests. Expect to have a picnic breakfast in the jungle with sights of different animals such as hippos, antelopes, heat beasts, giraffes and anything that will be in our sight. The safari takes 4 – 5 hours depending on our sightings and we shall have a lunch break after the safari as we relax and prepare for an afternoon waterfall boat cruise that will reward us with sights of amazing water birds, crocodiles, hippos and much more. You also expect to do a 45min hike to the top/bottom of the waterfall that offers impressive views of the magical falls.
Day 3:Enroute from the Savannah back to Kampala/Entebbe Airport
After a delicious breakfast, expect to do a short safari as you drive back to Kampala/Entebbe with a beautiful memories from the ultimate big 5 safari. Expect to have lunch en-route.
