Mwanzo designs bespoke retreats combining Serah Project field immersion, facilitated leadership sessions, and selective wildlife experiences. Hanna Lukács supports European organisations on programme design; Anthony Kiweewa delivers on-the-ground logistics, community access, and cultural context.

Sample 6-day retreat outline

Day 1 · Arrival & context setting

Entebbe welcome. Transfer to retreat base. Opening session: Uganda, Mwanzo, Serah Project — why place matters for leadership.

Day 2 · Serah Project immersion

Full day with Serah outreach — child protection context, community caregivers, ethical engagement protocols. Facilitated debrief.

Day 3 · Regenerative leadership workshop

Morning facilitated session (your facilitator or Mwanzo partner). Afternoon: local enterprise visit — tourism as livelihood.

Day 4 · Conservation & responsibility

Transfer to national park. Game drive or forest walk. Evening discussion: ESG, impact measurement, greenwashing vs. substance.

Day 5 · Gorilla or chimp extension (optional)

Full-day primate trek for delegates who opt in — permits arranged in advance. Others: cultural programme or rest day.

Day 6 · Integration & departure

Closing commitments session. Return to Entebbe. Certificates of participation available.

Commercial terms

Proposal & deposit

50% deposit on acceptance of written proposal. Balance 45 days before retreat start.

Cancellation

90+ days: deposit transferable to new dates. 45–90 days: 50% retained. Under 45 days: full balance due. Permits non-refundable.

Ethics

All community visits follow Serah Project consent protocols — no orphanage tourism, no staged poverty.

Insurance

Corporate travel insurance with medical evacuation required for all delegates.
