How booking works
- You enquire via our form or email — we reply within 1 business day.
- We send a written quote naming lodges, permit inclusion, and total price in USD or EUR.
- You pay a 30% deposit to secure permits and accommodation.
- Balance due 60 days before departure (or as agreed for short-notice bookings).
Where your money goes
- Uganda Wildlife Authority — gorilla/chimp permits purchased in your name once deposit clears.
- Lodges — confirmed only after deposit; names listed in your quote.
- Serah Project — a contribution from every Mwanzo booking supports registered CBO work in central Uganda.
Cancellation
Permits follow UWA non-refundable rules. Our tiered cancellation terms are in booking terms. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover.
