Our program blends adventure with purpose — empowering interns to contribute to responsible travel, wildlife conservation education, and local community development. You will work alongside experienced guides, educators, and community leaders while discovering Uganda's landscapes and cultural heritage.
Wildlife & conservation
Support conservation awareness connected to mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, and iconic species like the shoebill — in the field and in communities.
Community engagement
Work with local schools, women's groups, and Serah Foundation programmes to co-create positive social impact in Bukomansimbi and surrounding districts.

Academic learning meets field experience
Our Sustainable Tourism Internship combines classroom concepts with practical work on the ground. You will assist eco-tourism projects, create content for responsible travel, and contribute to community development initiatives with Mwanzo Tours and Serah Foundation.

Location & duration
Where you'll work
Base locations: Kibinge (Bukomansimbi), Kampala, and field work near major national parks including Bwindi, Kibale, and Murchison Falls.
Accommodation: Safe, clean housing managed by Mwanzo Tours, with Wi‑Fi and meals.
Duration: Flexible — from 2 weeks to 3 months. Start dates year-round.
