Why this safari?

Murchison combines the Nile and open savannah in one stay. On day two you cruise on a launch towards the foot of the falls in the morning, then switch to a game drive across the savannah in the afternoon.

Who is this safari for?

Couples and adults with three days, a love of water and big game, and no wish to trek. The first and last days are long drives, so it suits travellers who are happy on the road.

Physical difficulty

Easy. Vehicle-based game drives and a boat launch. Day 1 and day 3 are long road days.

Best time to go

Dry months make game drives easier, January, February and June to September. The Nile launch runs all year.

Your safari vehicle
