Book this Queen Elizabeth safari with Mwanzo Tours, a UTB-licensed Kampala operator. It is part of our Uganda safari tour packages and our 2027 safari packages guide. See the Queen Elizabeth destination page.

From US$1,269 per person, 2 sharing a double room, mid-range lodges, foreign non-resident adults, standard 2027 dates (not April, May or November), excluding international flights. Your written quote confirms the final price. Prices checked: 27 October 2026.

Why this safari?

Queen Elizabeth gives you two very different wildlife mornings and afternoons in three days: open savannah on the Kasenyi plains, then hippos, buffalo and birds along the Kazinga Channel from the water.

Who is this safari for?

Couples and families with three days who want a savannah park and a boat trip without a trek. There is nothing strenuous, and a driver-guide handles the roads.

Physical difficulty

Easy. Vehicle-based game drives and a boat trip. One long road day each way.

Best time to go

Game viewing is easiest in the drier months, January, February and June to September. Uganda runs all year, and April, May and November are quieter and greener.

Your safari vehicle

Private safari vehicle with a UTB-licensed driver-guide.

Your lead planner

Itinerary reviewed by Anthony Kiweewa, gorilla permits secured weekly from Kampala. Field guides include Daniel (25 years Queen Elizabeth & Bwindi) and Maria (women's journeys).

Wildlife & experiences you can expect

  • Game drive on the Kasenyi plains
  • Kazinga Channel boat trip: hippos, buffalo and birds
  • Sundowner beside the Kazinga side on arrival

Serah Foundation, where your booking goes

Every Mwanzo safari contributes to Serah Foundation, a registered community organisation supporting education, health outreach, and livelihood programmes in communities bordering Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth. We publish what your booking supports; this is not a vague "community fee."
